The Diversity and Inclusion Program of Fundação Getúlio Vargas – FGV Direito Rio (Law), in partnership with the Consulate General of the United States of America in Rio de Janeiro, and with the support of the Center for Studies on Contemporary Inequalities and Gender Relations (Nuderg) of the Rio de Janeiro State University and the Fluminense Forum for More Women in Politics, initiated on April 12th, the course Political Training Course for Women, with priority given to black, trans, indigenous and disabled women. This Course is coordinated by Professor Ligia Fabris.

Leila Linhares Barsted, one of the professors of this course, gave the first class, addressing the process of construction of women’s rights and the challenges faced in the current political context marked by democratic setbacks.
