Lobby do Batom (Lipstick Lobby), a documentary about the history of the feminist movement that changed the Brazilian Constitution, will premiere today, March 23, on NET Gávea at 9 pm. The documentary gathers testimonies from women who were directly involved in the process of the Constituent Assembly and who were part of the Lipstick Lobby that brought together women from different political parties in an articulation to assure that their demands be included in the 1988 Brazilian Constitution. Among the women participating in the documentary are Benedita da Silva, Comba Marques Porto, Jacqueline Pitanguy, Leila Linhares Barsted among others.
