On March 25th, Leila Linhares Barsted, from CEPIA, recorded an interview for the Viva Maria Radio Program, broadcasted by Radio Nacional to the entire country, on the direction of the Journalist Mara Regia. In that interview, Leila highlighted the urgency of women’s mobilization against gender violence, the importance of the Feminist Uprising “Don’t Even Think About Killing Me” against Feminicide and congratulated the Viva Maria radio program for its 40 years of uninterrupted transmission considered a box of ressonance of the women’s movement at local and national level. Viva Maria will air from Monday to Friday at different times through Rádio Nacional da Amazônia, Rádio Nacional de Brasília, Rádio Nacional in Rio de Janeiro and Rádio Nacional do Alto Solimões.
