On September 14-18th, Leila Linhares Barsted, representing CEPIA, participated in the 4th International Conference on Legal Aid in Criminal Justice Systems, which brought together more than 800 participants from 89 countries, online, to move forward, within the context of COVID -19, to support access to justice for all.
The event was held by the Public Defender Office of the State of Rio de Janeiro, International Legal Foundation (ILF), Open Society Justice Initiative (OSJI), United Nations Development Program (UNDP), United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) ), National College of General Public Defenders of Brazil (CONDEGE), Public Defender Office of the Union and the National Association of Public Defenders of Brazil (ANADEP).
