On April 26th, Debora Pinheiro and Mariana Barsted were at the Orlando Villas Boas Municipal School, at the invitation of Cristiane Tiozzo, the school’s pedagogical coordinator. On this day there was an activity called “study center”, a moment of dialogue and joint learning for the team of teachers, as well as the class council.

CEPIA facilitated a workshop attended by 17 teachers of arts, science, mathematics, history, portuguese, music education, physical education and the Program to Support Education Systems for Youth and Adult Education (PEJA).

The CEPIA team presented the methodology and content applied in the workshops with the school’s students, focusing especially on the 10 life skills listed by the World Health Organization (WHO) as fundamental for promoting the mental health of children and adolescents and for their full development, and also presented the materials produced by CEPIA, which are available and adaptable tools that can be used by teachers in conjunction with their classroom subjects.
