CEPIA, with the support of PROSARE and in partnership with the Secretariat of Public Security, offered the course “Perfection for Police Officers and Professionals” who attends Women Victims of Violence. Addressing the issue of domestic and sexual violence, the course aims to improve the qualification of these professionals in the care of women victims of violence.
This activity was carried out at the Civil Police Academy of the State of Rio de Janeiro – ACADEPOL and had as target public about 700 police officers from the Women’s Police Stations and officials from the Secretariat of Security. The course provided the articulation between the areas of public security and health, especially among the services for women victims of sexual violence. It counted on the participation of professors from several areas of knowledge, especially law and health professionals.
