On April 19, CEPIA, through its Partiu Papo Reto program, held another workshop at the Orlando Villas Boas Public High School of the Partiu Papo Reto training cycle: citizenship and rights. At this workshop the main topic was “Gender Power Relations”.
The workshop, facilitated by Débora Pinheiro, Kézia Sampaio and Gabriel Brandão and with the participation of Waldyr Cardoso, a visiting student from Cepia, engaged the students in conversations about power relations and how these asymmetrical relations are present in our lives. The workshop was developed through debates, case studies and dynamics to talk about gender inequalities.
The meeting was very productive with an active participation of the students who shared their opinions and gave ideas on how we can build a more egalitarian school environment.
