With the support of the Brazilian Magistrates Association – AMAERJ, the Brazilian Lawyers Institute (IAB) promoted, in its headquarters, on March 28th, the seminar Gender Violence – It is necessary to know in order to combat, which, among other participants, had the presence of Minister Delaíde Arantes, of the Superior Labor Court (TST) and Professor Denise Dau, national secretary of Confronting Violence against Women, of the Ministry of Women.
Leila Linhares Barsted, a member of the IAB was one of the speakers, bringing to the debate the issue of obstetric violence and proposing a position of the IAB on this issue.
