On January 18, the third meeting of the Community of Practice promoted by EMpower and  Tinker in conjunction with Alvaralice  and Empujar was held.

This third meeting had as its central focus the strengthening of institutional capacities to carry out policies to protect children, adolescents and young people.

The guest was Juan Diego Oquendo, from the organization Keeping Children Safe (KCS), who highlighted that the organizational protection of children and adolescents refers to the responsibility that organizations have to not cause harm to children, adolescents and young people either through their programs , staff or activities, directly or indirectly. He also highlighted that the protection of this public has two major components: prevention and response.

Several Latin American organizations supported by Empower participated in the meeting, including CEPIA, represented by Andrea Romani.
