The School of Magistrates of the State of Rio de Janeiro (EMERJ) held, on September 30th, the closing ceremony of the III class of the specialization course “Gender and Law”, lato sensu post-graduation. The event was opened by the General Director of the School, Judge Cristina Tereza Gaulia, who highlighted the pioneering nature of the Course in the national academic scenario, proving that studies and research on the subject are increasingly essential in the Brazilian and world scenarios. Judge Adriana Ramos de Mello, coordinator of this Course highlighted that despite the pandemic of COVID, the effort made by professors and teachers, as well as by students, made the Course possible.

In this event were honored by the class, with a plaque of recognition, the judge Inove Ferreira Caetano, the teachers Leila Linhares Barsted, Ana Lúcia Sabadell da Silva and Lívia de Meira Lima Paiva.
