TV Globo’s Jornal Nacional program is showing the series Brazil in Constitution. On September 12 the TV program showed the historical role of women during the work of the National Constituent Assembly, bringing a historical overview of the conquest by Brazilian women of their rights.

Jacqueline Pitanguy, who at the time of the constituent was President of the National Council for Women’s Rights, spoke about the role of women and about the lipstick lobby.
