By joint initiative CIAMAC, Radio Violeta of Mexico City, and MESECVI – Committee of Experts of the Mechanism to Follow Up on the Implementation of the Inter-American Convention of Belém do Pará produced the radio program “Latente Libres”, created to open the microphones of the MESECVI Committee of Experts to a general public, mainly women.

Leila Linhares Barsted, Expert of this Mechanism, was interviewed by Radio Violeta, on February 25th, when she presented the work done by the Committee of Experts in the elaboration of the Declaration on violence against women, children, and adolescents and their sexual and reproductive rights, pointing out the advances and the obstacles to the achievement of this Convention.
