The Training of Trainers Dialogs on leadership and democracy between women from Brazil and Lusophone Africa, started in September by CEPIA, in partnership with the WLP (Women’s Learning Partnership), was concluded on October 14, after five meetings bringing together 35 women from different backgrounds and field of action around themes related to democracy, leadership and political participation.
In addition to joint readings and group activities, the meeting also aimed to build bridges and networks between women from Brazil and Lusophone Africa in the perspective of strengthening female leadership and expanding the political participation of women.
The video I have a dream, produced by Daniela Lopes and Karla Oldane of CEPIA’s team, reflects the synergy of the meetings and the results achieved in terms of exchanges and collective stregthen. It took as reference one of the dynamics developed during the training, where the participants were invited to re-write Martin Luther King’s speech from the perspective and experience of different women.
