The magazine Revista Rosa published, the article by Jacqueline Pitanguy and Lena Lavinas abortion: finally a democratic and republican debate, about the need to hold a democratic, plural and secular debate on abortion and reproductive autonomy from a health, science and human rights perspective. The article also alerts for the danger of the advance of a radical fundamentalist ideology that, in a coordinated strategy between foreign policy, public policies and legislative projects, threatens acquired rights, impedes progress and hurts the rights and dignity of girls and women.
