CEPIA, in partnership with Casa Dona Amélia, held online and face-to-face workshops throughout the month of April with mothers living in Cidade de Deus, a low income community where Casa Dona Amelia is located.

The meetings aimed to create a safe space  promoting exchanges among the participants, all of them women who have experienced motherhood in adolescence or at a very young age. These activities, which will continue during the month of May, are part of CEPIA´s project Maternity can wait that is being developed based on the active listening of young mothers, their challenges, dreams and learnings. This project has as one of its main components a campaign to be launched in social media.
