On October 19th, Leila Linhares Barsted, representing CEPIA, participated as an exhibitor in the Training Course on “Victim’s Assistance in Feminicide Crimes” promoted by the Center for Legal Studies – CEJUR, of the Public Defender Office of the State of Rio de Janeiro, highlighting the long journey of Brazilian women to end gender violence against women and the international and national legislative advance that allowed the approval of the Maria da Penha Law.
