The Gender, Race and Ethnicity Research Group – NUPEGRE, of the Rio de Janeiro State Magistrates’ School (EMERJ) launched the booklet “Covid 19 Lockdown without Violence” so that women have no doubts about their rights at this time to combat coronavirus (COVID-19). Social isolation does not prevent the confrontation of domestic and family violence against women. Their right is guaranteed by the State during mandatory isolation due to the new coronavirus (COVID-19).
This booklet follows the guidelines of the United Nations (UN), which recommends the continuity of essential services to respond to violence against women and girls.
