A proposta deste Mapa de Argumentos é fortalecer o papel das instituições de justiça, em seus diversos graus, no que se refere à garantia dos direitos sexuais e reprodutivos já inscritos na legislação brasileira, assim como sua ampliação. Busca fortalecer o diálogo com o Poder Judiciário em suas diversas instâncias ampliando o debate e o campo de defensoras(es) dos direitos sexuais e reprodutivos e se contrapondo ao avanço e às narrativas fundamentalistas que contrariam leis, normativas e instrumentos internacionais de direitos humanos dos quais o Brasil é signatário.
O objetivo da organização deste Mapa de Argumentos é sensibilizar as instituições de justiça para garantir o atendimento seguro e respeitoso ao abortamento nos casos previstos em lei e contribuir para a despenalização social do aborto nestas instâncias.
The purpose of this Map of Arguments is to strengthen the role of justice institutions, at various levels, in guaranteeing the sexual and reproductive rights already enshrined in Brazilian law, as well as expanding them. It seeks to strengthen dialogue with the Judiciary at its various levels, broadening the debate and the field of defenders of sexual and reproductive rights and countering the advance of fundamentalist narratives that contradict laws, regulations, and international human rights instruments to which Brazil is a signatory.
The objective of this Map of Arguments is to raise awareness among justice institutions to ensure safe and respectful abortion care in cases provided for by law and to contribute to the social decriminalization of abortion in these instances.
