Violence against women: a guide to defense, guidance and support

The purpose of the Guide is to contribute to the expansion of women’s citizenship in the fight against gender violence by disseminating useful information and services that assist women victims of violence in the State of Rio de Janeiro so that women can better defend their rights. Information is presented in the areas of security, justice, and health. It also includes useful telephones and a set of other institutions dedicated to supporting women in situations of violence. The guide, updated regularly, is in its 8th edition.
