The Project Skills for Life in Adolescence has as main objective to bring to adolescents and youth knowledge about the Skills for Life recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO), identifying ways on how these skills can be used by them in the defense of their rights and construction of their life projects. Divided into 10 competencies that complement each other the Skills for Life include: self-knowledge, interpersonal relationships, empathy, dealing with feelings, dealing with stress, effective communication, critical thinking, creative thinking, decision making and problem solving.

The project includes the development of  workshops with teenagers and young people and with education professionals, as well as the production of materials and content for CEPIA social media and a publication to support activities in public high schools.

With this project CEPIA aims to contribute to a better dialogue between students and teachers based on human rights perspective and mutual respect; greater participation by adolescents and young people in defending their rights and exercising their full citizenship and expanding the knowledge of teachers (s) and other education professionals on issues related to gender equality, sexual and reproductive health, toxic masculinity and life skills.
