Since 2003, CEPIA has been carrying out a training course on women’s human rights, focused on reflecting on the advances and obstacles that exist in Brazilian society with regard to women’s citizenship, including national legislation and international instruments for the protection of human rights. The course is structured in modules and seeks to disseminate knowledge about laws and conventions, public policies, national and international human rights advocacy experiences, exchange successful experiences and discuss strategies for dissemination of knowledge, promotion and implementation of women’s human rights. It also seeks to draw parallels between the situation of women in different countries and cultures, placing Brazil in the world context.
