Cepia is a non-profit, non-governmental organization dedicated to the development of projects that contribute to the expansion and implementation of human rights and the strengthening of the citizenship of groups that in the history of our country have traditionally been excluded from its exercise , as women in their diversity.
Founded in 1990, it develops studies and research, as well as education and social intervention projects with the concern of disseminating its results, sharing them with various sectors of society.
Working with a gender perspective and within the framework of human rights, Cepia has privileged in its work the areas of health, reproductive and sexual rights, violence and access to justice, empowerment of women and youth.
Cepia conducts research, organizes seminars, courses, workshops, dialogues with social movements, lawmakers, health professionals, feminist groups, policy makers and opinion makers to broaden the debate around issues on its agenda.
It also develops advocacy acting in the proposal, monitoring and evaluation of public policies, maintaining constant dialogue with diverse social actors.
