On December 9th was held the last meeting of the year of the Community of Practice of NGOs working on issues related to the empowerment of adolescent girls, in particular on sexual and reproductive health and rights. This Community brings together partner organizations of EMpower in Latin America that work with this theme. CEPIA is part of the Community and is represented by Andrea Romani and Kezia Sampaio.
At the December meeting, pedagogical strategies were shared to promote comprehensive sexual education in the classroom. Luis Bermúdez, a school teacher in Colombia, shared his successful experience of contributing to the reduction of teenage pregnancy, from a multidimensional approach, including cognitive, practical-creative, communicative and socio-affective.
