CEPIA, throughout the month of March, will promote the cycle of weekly lives Trajectories: conversation among women, on our instagram @cepiacidadania. Each week, a theme, always promoting an intergenerational conversation related to women’s rights, achievements and challenges.
The meetings will take place on Thursdays, at 6pm.
For the first conversation, which had the theme “Why do we celebrate International Women’s Day?” we have the participation of Comba Marques Porto, retired Labor Judge and President of CEPIA’s Board of Directors and Jacqueline Pitanguy. Mediation was carried out by Kezia Santos from CEPIA’s youth team.
Among the issues addressed was the relevance of the creation of March 8 in Brazil and in the world, reflections on how society understands the date, is it a moment to give flowers to women or to support their struggles? And ideas on how to strengthen an intergenerational dialogue on this path for rights.
