CEPIA, which has been fighting for women’s reproductive rights for 30 years, celebrates the victory of Argentinian women who obtained approval in the National Congress of a law that decriminalizes interruption of pregnancy up to 14 weeks.
This victory simbolize the recognition that the right to abortion is a fundamental right to health and reproductive autonomy, and represents an encouragement for women in Latin American countries like Brazil that still have the most restrictive laws in the world.
