Leila Linhares Barsted (CEPIA) was interviewed by Revista Poli, in the edition of Nº. 69 – mar./abr. 2020, from Oswaldo Cruz Foundation, on violence against women and the emergence of Specialized Police Offices for Women (DEAMs). Leila made a retrospective of the struggle of feminist movements against this violence and the emergence of DEAMs in the 1980s.
