On June, 23rd, an article on the Shared Custody in Times of Covid-19 was published in the electronic journal Justifying – minds that think Law, written by lawyers Leila Linhares Barsted and Mariana Barsted, from CEPIA. The article brings a retrospective of how custody of children took place in Brazil, starting with the 1916 Civil Code, including the Civil Statute of Married Women, the Divorce Law, the 1988 Constitution, the 2002 Civil Code and the Shared Custody Law, analyzing recent jurisprudence and new arrangements in families during the covid-19 pandemic.
