On January 16th, 2020, EMERJ promoted a seminar “Reflections on Gender and Law” with the presentation of the final works of the graduate students of the Course Gender and Law, which is held at Magistrate’s School of the State of Rio de Janeiro (EMERJ).

Issues such as: disabled women and rape, women and graffiti, domestic violence, psychological violence, violence against children and adolescents, rehabilitation of the aggressor, school education and sexuality, shared custody, sexual and reproductive rights, communication, care services for women in situations of violence, Maria da Penha Law, women in the police career, sexual diversity, and gender in sport.

Leila Barsted, lecturer of the course and executive coordinator of CEPIA, participated in the opening table and coordinated one of the seminar tables.
