Training in the human rights of women is key to providing knowledge and skills for empowering the women to defend their rights. This program aims to share knowledge and skills to promote and defend women’s rights and to build common agendas. It responds to the need for continuous training of activities, organizations and social movements, youth groups, students, as well as professionals who play a role in the formulation and development of public policies.
The main activities include: Women’s Human Rights Course and the development of workshops based on a participatory and horizontal methodology. These activities, focused on strengthening gender equality and women’s leadership, have included participants from Latin America and Africa.
CEPIA has established diverse partnerships and partnerships and is part of the international network, Women’s Learning Partnership for Rights Development and Peace –WLP, which brings together women’s organizations from 20 countries.
