On October 18th, the Permanent Forum on Domestic, Family, and Gender Violence; the Gender, Race, and Ethnicity Research Center (NUPEGRE), both from EMERJ; the National Forum of Judges on Domestic and Family Violence Against Women (FONAVID), and the State Coordination for Women in Situations of Domestic and Family Violence (COEM) held the second meeting of the Fluminense Forum on Domestic and Family Violence Against Women (II FOVID-RJ). The event, titled Justice with Perspective: Intersectionality and Integrated Actions to Combat Gender Violence, brought together judges from various Brazilian states to discuss integrated actions to address the violent deaths of women, urgent protective measures, access to justice, and other related topics. Leila Linhares Barsted, member of the Permanent Forum, represented CEPIA at the event.
