CEPIA, represented by Andrea Romani and Jacqueline Pitanguy, participated in a meeting with Fos Feminista, along with other Brazilian NGOs that are part of the Fòs Feminista alliance for reproductive rights. The online meeting took place on October 23rd and its purpose was to provide an update on the country’s situation, progress and challenges, and networking opportunities. Analyzing the recent municipal elections Jacqueline drew attention to the transformations in the political world highlighted by the figure of Pablo Marçal as an ideal of success to be achieved through entrepreneurship, the use of social media and a conservative discourse on the agenda of morals and customs.
