At the invitation of Professor Mauricio Antezana from the Bolivian Private University Jacqueline Pitanguy presented on October 14th a social and political panorama of Brazil in the master’s course Analisis del Entorno Economico y Político en América Latina.
Jacqueline referred to the variables that, in her opinion, must be considered to understand this panorama, such as the massive use of social networks and the dissemination of fake news, the growing politicization of religion and the incidence of meritocracy and individual entrepreneurship values in the job market, in a national and international context of growth of the extreme right and dissemination of conservative agendas.
