The 20th Diamantina Seminar was held between August 19 and 23, organized by Cedeplar of the Federal University of Minas Gerais and ABEP, the Brazilian Association of Population Studies. It brought together a large audience that attended mini-courses, round tables, special sessions and conferences. Jacqueline Pitanguy participated as a speaker on the topic Constructions and Setbacks: The 30th Anniversary of the Cairo International Conference on Population and Development and the Long Road Ahead. Richarlls Martins, CEPIA Associate and President of the National Commission on Population and Development, also spoke on this topic, in addition to Professor Raquel Zanatta Coutinho. The panel was coordinated by Professor Laura Wong.
