On August 31st, the Inter-American Commission of Women – CIM, MESECVI and UN Women organized the virtual event Strategic litigation in cases of violence against women in public and political life: Experiences from Latin America, designed to present the Guide for strategic litigation of cases of violence against women in public and political life.
Leila Linhares Barsted participated in this event that also presented the update of the document Standards for the protection of women’s human rights: Necessary tools for the defense of their political participation published by CIM/MESECVI and UN Mulheres.
