From August 3rd to 5th, it took place the 2023 edition of the Training of Trainers (TOT), a join initiative of CEPIA along with Women’s Learning Partnership (WLP). At this edition of the TOT we gathered women from various parts of Brazil, along with women from Peru, Argentina and Chile. This Training is a central initiative on CEPIA’s agenda and WLP aiming to contribute to women leadership and to promote the exchange and expansion of networks among women activists and women’s organizations. This year the TOT was named Regional Training for Facilitators: reflections on democratic culture and instruments for human rights defenders and was based on WLP curriculum mainly Beyond Equality: a manual for human rights defenders and Leading for a Democratic Culture: A Handbook for Women in Transitional Societies (Draft).
