CEPIA, in partnership with Women’s Learning Partnership (WLP), launches the publication Participação política das mulheres e violência política contra as mulheres: diálogos latinoamericanos pela democracia e pelos direitos humanos das mulheres (Women’s Political Participation and Political Violence Against Women: Latin American Dialogues for Democracy and Women’s Human Rights).
The bilingual publication – Portuguese/Spanish – seeks to give visibility to the debate on political violence against women and adds to other efforts to build regional agendas in defense of women’s human rights.
Civil society organizations and women’s collectives from Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Mexico and Peru have come together through this initiative to build bridges and exchange experiences among Latin American women.
