CEPIA was present at 28S event (Latin American and Caribbean Day of Struggle for the Decriminalization of Abortion), joining several organizations and women’s collectives in a powerful mobilization at Praça XV, in Rio de Janeiro. The space was taken over by activities that integrated information, art, poetry, music, workshops and conversations in defense of reproductive rights in Brazil.
During the event, candidates for municipal council reaffirmed their commitment to the cause by signing the Democracy and Reproductive Justice letter, strengthening the importance of political support in the fight for the decriminalization of abortion. The day was one of inspiration and resistance, renewing our strength to move forward in this urgent and necessary agenda.
