Ahead of the Summit of the Future, a United Nations event at the end of September that brings together world leaders at the UN/NY headquarters to define a new international consensus on how to provide a better present and preserve the future, Fòs Feminista organized an online meeting, on September 5th, which included the participation of several partner organizations. CEPIA, represented by Andrea Romani, attended the meeting which aimed to share updates on the process leading up to the Summit and analyze how the documents accompanying the meeting do or do not adopt a gender perspective and how they impact reproductive justice.
The expectation for the Summit is that the leaders will adopt the Pact for the Future and additional documents, including the Global Digital Compact and the Declaration for Future Generations.
