The National Forum of Judges of Domestic and Family Violence against Women (Fonavid), the Permanent Commission to Combat Domestic and Family Violence against Women (Copevid, of the Public Prosecutor’s Office) and the Commission for the Promotion and Defense of Women’s Rights of the National Council of Public Defenders (Condege), the institutions that make up the Network against Gender Violence, held the 1st Network Strengthening Meeting on September 6th at the headquarters of the MP/RJ, bringing together institutions from the justice system, public bodies and civil society in the fight against violence against women.
Leila Linhares Barsted, CEPIA’s representative, took part in the event, which aimed to promote dialogue and the exchange of experiences on the subject, especially with a view to reducing femicide.
