On August 21st, CEPIA participated in another Community of Practices meeting promoted by EMpower, which brings together representatives of organizations from different Latin American countries working with young people.

The meeting’s guiding theme was “What are the skills of the future?”

Kézia Sampaio, Project Assistant at CEPIA, was representing the organization and says that it was an important moment with rich exchanges about what these skills are and how each organization can help its audiences  to develop these skills.  The meeting was also an opportunity for CEPIA to share the work it has been developing since 2019, including the World Health Organization’s 10 Life Skills as the central and/or transversal theme of several of the workshops we developed with young audiences, based on our Life Skills Manual: psychosocial skills for adolescents and young protagonists

The meeting ended with the Brazilian song “O que é, que é?” (Live and not be ashamed of being Happy) By Gonzaguinha.
