On July 25 and 26, the Justice System Dialogue Forum – Maria da Penha Law, under the Ministry of Women’s Affairs, held another meeting of the Working Group aimed at strengthening protective measures for women in situations of domestic and family violence.
Leila Linhares Barsted took part in this meeting, which brought together judges from the Domestic Violence Courts, members of the National Forum of Judges on Domestic and Family Violence against Women (FONAVID), members of the Public Prosecutor’s Office and the Public Defender’s Office, UN Women and the Maria da Penha Law Consortium. Leila Linhares Barsted, a member of the Forum and the WG, took part in this meeting.
