CEPIA, represented by Jacqueline Pitanguy and Catholics for the Right to Decide, by Maria José Rosado and Denise Mascarenhas, organized, on March 2, a meeting with a group of people with a life path dedicated to the affirmation of human rights and sexual rights and reproductive rights, to analyze the situation of these rights in the country and outline advocacy strategies for their defense. The meeting featured presentations by Jacqueline pitanguy on the general panorama of reproductive rights in the country; Kenarik Boujikian on reproductive rights and abortion in the judiciary and Lusmarina Garcia and Maria José Rosado on reproductive rights, religion and politics. Also present at CEPIA were Andrea Romani, who moderated the meeting, Leila Barsted and Mariana Barsted.
