On November the 24th, CEPIA attended a meeting of the EMPower Collaborative Network, which brings together organizations that work in various areas such as sexual health, art, sport, education, the environment and technology, especially with adolescents and young people. The meeting took place at Redes da Maré, where there was a lot of sharing of experiences about the organizations’ work in their territories, work methodologies and the collective construction of work plans for 2024. In addition, we got to know a little more about the territory of Maré, a favela located in the North Zone of Rio de Janeiro, and its work centers: Casa das Mulheres, Biblioteca Petra, Centro de Artes da Maré and Prédio Central, and had a delicious lunch at Bar do Amparo, which is famous in the region.
