In another partnership with the Orlando Villas Boas Public High School, CEPIA held three workshops with mothers and fathers of the School’s students. The meetings took place throughout October 9th and were attended by more than 60 fathers, mothers and grandparents of teenagers. Facilitated by CEPIA’s team represented by Andrea Romani, Gabriel Brandão, Kezia Sampaio and Mariana Barsted, the meetings aimed to invite participants to reflect on their relationships with their daughters and sons, sharing challenges and learning.

Some of the points raised by mothers of students were the challenge of dialogue with daughters and sons and the work overload they face with the unequal division of labor in the domestic space. As positive aspects, some of the highlights were related to the affection and complicity of the daughters and some moments that they share during the weekends.
