On September 13th it took place a fourth virtual conversation about the role of gender norms in achieving equality and women’s human rights.  This initiative was held by Women’s Learning Partnership (WLP) in partnership with  UNFPA’s Asia and Pacific Regional Office.  The conversion was about the link between climate change and gender equality and had the participation of UNFPA representatives from various countries of the Region along with the speakers Hafsat Olaronke Abiola-Costello, a Nigerian activist and founder of Kudirat Initiative for Democracy (KIND); Xolelwa Hlalu a seasoned environmentalist from Johannesburg, South Africa and Annette LaRocco a researcher currently working on the book  The Nature of Politics: State-building and Conservation in Postcolonial Botswana. Andrea Romani also participated.
