Branca Moreira Alves and Jacqueline Pitanguy published the article “What is the role of memory?” in the magazine Parênthesis. The article talks about the role of memories and struggles for women’s rights, in which they highlight that reports from memory, as demonstrated by Oral History research, allow us to recover a first-person testimony, with the environment and emotions experienced as a unique experience.
