CEPIA, represented by Débora Pinheiro, was present at the Marcha das Margaridas, which took place in Brasília between the 15th and 16th of August, gathering more than 100 thousand people.

The March is a demonstration/act that takes place every 4 years to remember the struggle of Margarida Alves, a unionist who was murdered defending the rights of rural workers.

Rural women along with women from the forests, waters and cities, continue to fight to remember the legacy of Margarida Alves.
