On August 14th and 15th, the Meetings on Contemporary Legal Feminism Brazil-Spain: challenges of contemporary legal feminism: context, reflections and proposals to fight inequalities in Brazil and Spain, took place at the Postgraduate Law School of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (PPGD / UFRJ), within the scope of PRINT / UFRJ and in partnership with the Faculty of Law of the University of València.
The topics addressed by the professors were: women and constitutionalism by Lilian Balmant Emerique, women in the public sphere: political participation and work by Sayonara Grillo , sexual and reproductive rights (surrogate pregnancy, sexual violence, prostitution / sex work) visiting professor Ana Marrades Puig (Universidad de Valencia), diverse women, racism, whiteness and legal perspectives by Vanessa Batista Berner and students of the graduate program.
