The governance of the Group of Studies on Abortion (GEA), met on May 20th to propose changing the name of this entity to Group of Studies on Abortion Dr Thomas Gollop in recognition of his dedication to this cause and his coherence in defending reproductive rights and the right to abortion. Jacqueline Pitanguy participated in this meeting in which she recalled the many decades of work together with Dr Thomas whom she met in 1986.
