The Postgraduate Program in Public Policy in Human Rights of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) held a series of meetings, on April 13th, as part of the discipline Women, Justice and Human Rights, organized by professors Maria Celeste Simões Marques and Cristiane Brandão. Among the topics addressed were gender theories, feminist waves, intersectionality and decolonial approaches, violence, access to justice, the Courts of Domestic and Family Violence against Women and the Reference Centres under the National Policy of Confronting Violence against Women. Leila Linhares Barsted was one of the lecturers on the theme Feminist Movements’ Performance in the Construction of the 1988 Constitution.
